Ed Moura

General Manager

Ed Moura has been leading transformational change in the learning and information industry for a generation in a variety of roles including, Chief Product Officer, Divisional President, and General Manager. His roots are in sales, marketing, business development and product management; his passion is leveraging technology and new business models to delight users. He has led teams and businesses ranging from smaller sized, privately backed enterprises to large P&L divisions in corporate publishing.

Ed joined Jones & Bartlett Learning (JBL)/Ascend Learning in March 2013 as Chief Product Officer and is now President of the Content Solutions group including ClickSafety and JBL. Prior to Ascend Learning, he was EVP, Digital Solutions Group at Cengage and responsible for the group’s then leading digital brands that included Aplia, CNOW, and SAM. He was formerly President, Thomson-Southwestern, an operating division of Thomson Learning. He has also worked for Pearson Education as President and GM, of the Addison-Wesley College Division.

In his spare time, Ed is usually found on the family farm in New Hampshire tracking the price of maple syrup and tending to the vagaries of managing the sugarbush.

Matt Bower

VP of Product & Content Development

Matt is responsible for product and content development including market research, defining customer needs, creating new products, services and custom content to better serve our customers. Matt has extensive construction industry & online education experience driving top line revenue and profitability through market share, sales & business development optimization, branding, ROI marketing and operational efficiencies. Prior to ClickSafety, Matt held senior Sales, Marketing & Operations positions with The McGraw-Hill Companies, Kaplan Professional and Reed Business Information. Matt received his bachelors in Marketing & Communication Studies from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Paul Colangelo, STSC, CHST, CET, CRIS

National Director of Compliance Programs

Paul is responsible for the overall operations and performance for compliance programs support of clients and also interfaces with the content development team. He leads Compliance Programs product development, manages daily program operations and partners with sales personnel to enhance customer safety and compliance programs. Paul is a 17 year accredited OSHA Outreach 10-Hour and 30-Hour Construction program trainer; he is also a Safety Trained Supervisor-Construction (STSC), a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) and a Certified Environmental, Safety and Health Trainer (CET) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). He is also an accredited Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) through the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI).

Paul has over 25 years of experience in EH&S, as Safety Director, Manager and Consultant to Construction, Telecommunications, Utility and Renewable Energy sectors. He has created and delivered hundreds of Outreach and specialized training programs across the country. Paul authors and presents many industry specific topics, including published articles in Modern Contractor Magazine, Construction Ink, Construction Executive Magazine and Construction Business Owner magazine and has presented at regional and national events, including NECA, AGCA and ASSE. He is also a current advisory board member for the ASSE Council on Professional Development (COPD) and Construction Practice Specialty (CPS).

Ron Bruce, CSP, MS, ARM

VP of Content

Ron is responsible for developing and implementing ClickSafety's web-based safety and health programs, including custom content productions. He has 35 years of experience in various aspects of construction management, with expertise in safety and health program development and consultation. Prior to ClickSafety, Ron served as Risk Manager for a heavy construction firm serving various large public agencies. Ron earned his B.S. in Physical Science and Education from Washington State University and M.S. in Safety from University of Southern California, and is a Certified Safety Professional.



Pete Rice, CSP, CIH, REHS

VP of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Programs

Pete is responsible for developing and managing ClickSafety's industrial hygiene and environmental health programs. With 30 years of experience, he has monitored safety and health practices on hundreds of projects and has helped develop various Cal/OSHA standards. Prior to ClickSafety, Pete managed environmental, safety, and hygiene programs for a nationally-prominent engineering firm, working on the leading edge of web-based training and online risk management. Pete earned his B.S. in Environmental Health and Biology and M.S. in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety from California State University, Northridge. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional and teaches industry-related courses at both UC Berkeley and UC Davis. Pete is an accredited OSHA Outreach Program Trainer for both the OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour courses

Pete authors and presents many industry-specific topics, including published articles in Construction Ink, ASSE Construction Spotlight. Pete also delivers weekly Toolbox Safety Talk videos and he has presented at regional and national safety events, including ASSE.



Shaun Burns Safety SolutionsShaun Burns

National Sales Director, A/E/C

Shaun Burns has over 20 years of national sales experience, creating client solutions for dozens of the country’s largest organizations. He manages the A/E/C Sales Team providing Safety Solutions for Construction Industry firms across the country. Shaun works with Construction Management, General Contracting, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Electrical Contracting, Civil Contracting, Environmental Contracting, PetroChem and Architectural/Design firms. He is instrumental in helping develop the right safety solution to meet the needs of the CEO, CFO, Vice President EH&S, Director of EH&S, Director of Safety and Human Resources or Training Coordinator.

With a Construction Management degree and 10+ years providing services to the Construction industry, Shaun understands the needs and pressures facing the industry. His specialties include Contractor Training Portals, Custom Course Development, New Hire/Site Specific Orientations and Compliance Training with OSHA 10-Hour online and OSHA 30-Hour online courses.

Marketing Manager

Tom Cermak has spent 10+ years in Construction industry and has over 20 years of marketing and sales experience. During his time at ClickSafety, Tom's served as Strategic Account Manager (MidWest region) for two years, and is now Marketing Manager. 

Tom works with Construction Management, General Contracting, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Electrical Contracting, Civil Contracting, Environmental Contracting, PetroChem and Architectural/Design firms. He helps develop the right safety solution to meet the needs of the CEO, CFO, Vice President EH&S, Director of EH&S, Director of Safety and Human Resources or Training Coordinator.

Product Manager

Haritha is responsible for delivering the best online safety training solutions to the market by working with a talented team of Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, and Developers. She focuses not only on content but also the platform to make sure the full end-to-end experience is ideal for each of ClickSafety's clients and students.  

Haritha started out as an engineer in the semiconductor industry and eventually transitioned over to product management roles across multiple industries. Prior to ClickSafety, she was a product manager for a company developing and manufacturing plumbing products for construction and industrial applications as well as a product manager for an embedded systems electronics firm. 

With an Electrical Engineering degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Boston College, Haritha strives to use her analytical background and understanding of customer and market needs to drive product roadmaps and exciting new business opportunities.
