    Job Site Safety Orientation (20-min)

    Job Site Safety Orientation is an introductory online safety course on job site safety and health hazards. The course teaches hazard identification, avoidance and control. This online safety course also discusses safety programs, work planning, PPE, materials handling, housekeeping and diversity in the workplace.

    OSHA's Focus Four Hazards: An Introduction (25-min)

    OSHA has identified the four leading causes of fatalities in the construction industry. This online course focuses on OSHA's Focus/Fatal Four Hazards which include Electrical, Fall, Struck-by, and Caught-in or -Between hazards. You will learn how to understand and describe what the four hazards are, as well as help prevent accidents and injuries due to those hazards.

    Hazard Communication Awareness (HazCom) (25-min)

    The introductory Hazard Communication Awareness online safety course covers the basic elements of OSHA’s Hazard Communication (often referred to as HazCom) Standard as found in 29 CFR 1910.1200. This course is intended to familiarize the student with the basics of the recent revisions to OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), including the 2012 revisions incorporating the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS).

    Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness (BBP) (10-min)

    In this introductory Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) Awareness online safety course, you will learn about bloodborne pathogens according to Federal OSHA standards.     In this awareness-level online safety course, you will learn about Confined Spaces in Construction. Find out how to utilize your existing knowledge on confined spaces while learning about new kinds of safety procedures and changing regulations. Confined spaces include manholes, crawl spaces and tanks that are not designed for continuous occupancy and are difficult to exit in the event of an emergency. Construction workers often perform tasks in confined spaces and these spaces can present physical and atmospheric hazards that can be prevented if addressed prior to entering the space to perform work.

    Heat Stress (20-min)

    Heat Stress is an intermediate online safety course that focuses on anticipating, recognizing, evaluating and controlling heat stress hazards. In this course, we will teach you the definition of heat stress and how to prevent injuries and illnesses on the job site. You will also learn OSHA’s heat stress guidelines so that you can be prepared to handle heat stress emergencies.

    Ladder Safety Awareness (10-min)

    This introductory Ladder Safety Awareness online course will teach you how to correctly and properly use a ladder on a construction site and review the capabilities and limitations of ladders. We will also cover safe work practices and techniques for accident prevention.
