    Course Objectives

    Students in the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction® (STSC) Certification Exam Preparation Course will cover a number of topics included in the BCSP STSC Certification Exam version 6, including:

    Course Audience

    To earn STSC certification, construction jobsite leaders must meet specific criteria and pass the certification exam. The Safety Trained Supervisor Construction® (STSC) Certification Exam Preparation Course is designed for individuals whose primary duties are focused on a craft, trade, or technical specialty or the supervision of these duties. Additionally, eligible candidates are also responsible for a number of safety-related duties, including hazard monitoring, regulatory compliance, safety training, and more.

    Be advised that to take the STSC certification exam, candidates must also complete:

    • 30 hours of safety, health, and environmental training
    • 2 years of supervisory experience or 4 years of work experience with at least 18 work hours per week
