While completing this Fall Protection Awareness online course, you will learn about OSHA’s rules and regulations regarding common fall hazards and the need for protection. In addition, this course discusses the types of fall protection available and how to choose a fall protection system.

    Day 2: Back Injury Prevention & Safe Lifting Techniques (30-min)

    This intermediate online safety course offers training in back disorders, pre-lift considerations and proper lift technique. This prevention course will cover what employees should know before moving, handling and storing materials. In addition, you will be instructed on proper precautions, safe work practices and recommended lifting techniques, including legal requirements for ensuring safety to the highest possible standard in the workplace. When finished, you will have been given the tools to be able to recognize the potential hazards, precautions and safeguards to prevent injury and damage in the workplace.

    Day 3: Personal Protective Equipment, Common (60-min)

    This intermediate online safety course focuses on the types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) you can use to protect yourself from construction hazards and how to avoid injury in the workplace. You will learn OSHA’s regulations regarding common personal protective equipment. In addition, you will be familiarized with the correct equipment to use for the head, eyes and face, arm and hand, and foot and leg protection, plus how to select the proper equipment for your specific job. You will be informed of how to properly use, maintain and store your PPE and general PPE issues you might encounter.

    Day 4: Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Awareness (20-min)

    This introductory safety course will teach you how to avoid exposure to bloodborne pathogens on the construction site. Bloodborne pathogens are pathogenic microorganisms that cause serious diseases, such as Hepatitis and AIDS. This online safety course will cover hazard identification, avoidance and control measures. Learn how exposure can occur on the construction site. Instruction will also be given on the types of bloodborne pathogens, who is at risk, recommended methods of protection and OSHA’s standards.

    Day 5: Ladder Safety Awareness (10-min)

Learn OSHA ladder safety training on how to properly select, prepare and set up your ladder according to the job you will be performing.
