Know the difference between confined spaces and permit required confined spaces.
Know the three elements of a Process Safety Management System (PSM) and how it can help prevent catastrophic incidents when working with and around hazardous chemicals.
Know Identify proper machine guarding, as well as how to prevent potential injuries.
Know the best practices when working with scaffolding, as well as requirements for erecting, assessing, and dismantling scaffolds. Furthermore, participants will understand hoists, slings, and aerial lifts.
Understand the importance of preventative measures and risk mitigation processes as they pertain to heat stress and illnesses.
All course participants must complete the full course to receive a valid U.S. DOL OSHA 30-Hour Card. Participants must achieve a score of 70%. Every participant must complete the 30-hour course within 180 days of the start date. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a course completion certificate. In general, DOL/OSHA 30-Hour Cards arrive within two weeks after completion of your course.
