ClickSafety’s New Director of Compliance, Rolando Cedillo, to Speak at Industry-leading Chicago Build Event

Seminar will include vital components of an Environmental, Health, Safety & Wellness program and how to train a diverse workforce.

Burlington, MA – ClickSafety, an Ascend Learning brand, recently announced Rolando Cedillo, MSE, NREMT, CSP as their new Director of Compliance. He brings thirty-plus years of Environmental, Health, Safety & Wellness (EHS&W) experience in heavy civil construction, manufacturing, oil, gas, and petrochemicals to ClickSafety—and to Chicago Build on October 14.

Rolando joined ClickSafety in late 2021, bringing his extensive background in EHS&W industrial and his commercial perspective. He is partnering with ClickSafety’s talented and diverse product, content, and technology experts to enhance their many safety training solutions.

“Finding an opportunity to share experiences and learning has always been a passion of mine. Being able to do so in multiple languages and training delivery methods as part of the ClickSafety team is a real plus.” Rolando said.

His upcoming session at the Chicago Build 2022 Expo, Building EHS&W Bridge and Adding Value: Training a Diverse Workforce, will review the vital components of an EHS&W program and examine the effectiveness of workplace safety training.

“We are proud Rolando has the opportunity to speak alongside other industry experts and share his wealth of knowledge and expertise. I know he will deliver incredible value to the professionals at Chicago Build as he does to our organization.” said Blake Ingram, General Manager, ClickSafety.

Rolando will discuss why taking an inclusive cultural approach is essential to building effective training programs. Of the 808,891 construction workers employed in the United States, 24.5% are Hispanic or Latino, 10.7% Black or African American, and 2.7% Asian*. To better connect with this diverse workforce, Rolando says it is critical to create inclusive visuals and show examples that will resonate with the audience–enabling him to improve training comprehension and outcomes.
