About the Exam:
The ASP test is a 5-hour test consisting of 200 multiple choice questions designed to measure the academic knowledge expected of an entry-level safety professional. It is administered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).

ASP Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in any field or an associate’s degree in safety, health, or the environment (SH&E).
- At least 1 year of work experience where safety is at least 50% of the duties.

2. SPAN™ ASP Prep Course - this one-year online subscription delivers essential knowledge required to earn your ASP certification and is designed to help learners prepare at their own pace.
3. SPAN™ ASP Workbook – proven to reduce your study time by as much as 50%. The ASP workbook covers the full spectrum of material that could possibly be tested and contains several self-evaluation exercises.
*This is subject only to public workshops and is dependent upon capacity for additional students. A BCSP score report must be submitted to register for a complimentary workshop. The complimentary workshop must be taken within a year of the original workshop.

Workshops:
Workshops are 8 hours each day, with an hour lunch and periodic breaks. You will receive your exact start time along with other details upon registration. Lodging, travel and meals are not included in workshop registration fee. Each participant is responsible for travel arrangements. Workshop cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation fee up to 30 days prior. No refunds will be made within 30 days of the workshop start date. ClickSafety reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum number of registrants is not met. You will be notified by email if this occurs and have the option to receive a full refund or to move your registration to a different workshop. - The 3 day work shop is intense but wow does it prepare you. The course work book really mimics the exam style questions and was a wonderful study resource. Going through each practice exam really helped in preparing me for my exam; and I passed because of it!

- Took this class before my ASP exam and I can say it helped immensely with me passing on the first attempt. The content was thorough and the instructors in the workshop were excellent at explaining the topics and teaching us how to answer questions on the exam. I would highly reccomend the workshop/course.

- I passed the test on my first try. The book and online tests were very helpful because they got me comfortable with the test format. Retake the practice tests over and over. Hopefully, you can recognize within yourself your ability to see your testing skills improve. It seemed like you could narrow it down to two options, and the practice tests helped me develop this skill. There were lots of different types of questions, and not all of the information on the tests was covered in the book or course, which is okay. It gave me a foundation. I am a better test taker in the mornings. Hope this helps someone.

- I think this course is a good model to prep the test taker for the question and answer format of the ASP exam. It covers a wide variety of topics, and provides explanations. It's important to remember that the test prep questions offered here will not be the actual test questions on the day of your exam. These questions are designed to help get the student prepared for the wide variety of subjects that could be included on the test - but there is no way for any exam prep course to cover everything, so I think it's important to keep this in perspective. If you are weak in mathematics, this will be good but not enough to help truly explain the math, so plan to supplement on your own if needed. Overall, I give this training four out of five stars. I did pass my test on the first attempt, and I absolutely see the value in getting used to the way the test questions and answers are presented. I highly recommend going through the modules more than once, and going through the practice exams twice or more - seems like a lot, but the more comfortable you are with the format, the better. Good luck to all the test takers out there - you can do it!!!
