Who needs OSHA 30-Hour Construction training?

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course was designed for construction workers and any individual with construction site safety responsibilities, including:

  • All personnel responsible for construction-related projects
  • Workers on publicly funded projects and mandated by city or state requirements:
    • Connecticut (Note: These profesionals must recertify every five years.)

    • Pennsylvania (Note: These profesionals must recertify every five years.)

This course is not intended for workers in general industry or road construction. Construction personnel subject to New York City Department of Buildings regulations should take the Voice Authentication Course. California-based construction professionals may need additional training, due to specific California state-level safety regulations.

Does this course satify the OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification requirements?

Course participants will gain a clear understanding of safety hazards in the workplace, OSHA construction industry standards, and more. Our safety experts explain complex OSHA regulations in a way that is clear and easy to understand to help you pass the course. We’ve also included a free study guide to help you prepare for the final exam.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive:

  • A certificate that confirms you’ve passed with a score of at least 70%
  • Three (3.0) Continuing Education Units from an accredited IACET provider
  • A valid DOL/OSHA 30-Hour Card shipped within two weeks

All course participants have three opportunities to pass the online test and receive immediate feedback after incorrect responses. Participants should be aware that safety standards imposed by their company may be more stringent than those established by OSHA.

Please note that all training must be completed within 180 days of the course's start date. Successful completion requires users to spend at least 30.25 hours in the online course and supplemental material. You will also be required to complete a course evaluation at the end of the course to receive a certificate of completion and DOL/OSHA Card.

This certificate-level course provides a proven method for securing your DOL/OSHA 30-Hour Card. We’ll record your score and submit reports of all successful course completions to the DOL and OSHA. After receiving and signing your card, we’ll mail it directly to you. In most cases, cards ship within two weeks of course completion.
