This Refresher pack meets the 8 hours of mandatory training for workers who need to renew their SST Card for NYC DOB. NYC Department of Buildings requires all SST card holders to renew their cards every five years. This training must be complete before the 5-year renewal expiration date on the card. As an NYC DOB authorized provider of SST Training, ClickSafety (ID Number 4T75), meets Local Law 196 of 2017 refresher training requirements.
NOTE: The worker must complete this refresher training before the 5-year expiration of the SST Card. If you do not complete training before the expiration, you must complete the full 40 hours of worker training again. Refresher training must be taken by the worker no more than one year before applying for the card renewal.
NOTICE: This course uses voice authentication. VA courses were developed with the NYC Department of Buildings (NYC DOB) to address LL196 online course proctoring requirements. These voice-authenticated courses represent a best practice to ensure the student's identity by prompting users to verify their voice at random intervals throughout the course. Users must have access to a mobile phone or landline while taking the course to meet this requirement successfully.
This Safety Pack now includes a Site Safety Training (SST) card.
Once you have completed the courses within the Safety Pack, you should then complete the Site Safety Training (SST) Card course.
The NYC SST Card course will guide you through Training Connect’s process to receive your SST Card and meet New York City Local Law 196 of 2017 (LL 196).
