Label Changes with OSHA's New GHS Standard
The new OSHA GHS HazCom Standard means Label changes are coming - are you ready? Certified Safety Professional, Pete Rice, CIH takes you through the new GHS labels for chemicals and highlights the changes that will become mandatory on June 1, 2015. This is the date when OSHA fully switches to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) Hazard Communication Standard. OSHA requires that employers train all workers on the new GHS standard by December 1, 2013.
